After a 3rd place for his 1st participation in 2021, Joachim takes part for the second time in the Race Across France from Le Touquet to Mandelieu La Napoule on the Mediterranean coast after 2500km and 37000m of ascent.
Getting into the rhythm is the challenge of this self-supported ultra-cycling event. Managing sleep and effort so as to be able to simply finish is the challenge faced by competitors in this demanding event. After suffering from dehydration on the first day, Joachim gradually picked up his pace to finish stronger!
After 5 days, 18 hours and 05 minutes of pedaling, Joachim finished in 3rd place. Well done to him for his second consecutive podium finish in THE benchmark ultra-cycling road race.
